Pinnacle Talks Series – Talk 1:
“Smart Planning and Structural Design of Bridges”

The Indian Concrete Institute, Nagpur Centre, in association with the Institution of Engineers (India), Nagpur Local Centre, organized the Pinnacle Talks Series for members of the ICI Students’ Chapters.
Talk 1 of the series was delivered by Er. Pravin P. Deshpande, Chairman, ICI Nagpur Centre, on the topic “Smart Planning and Structural Design of Bridges” on Saturday, 24th January 2026.
The Pinnacle Talks Series aims to showcase excellence and innovation in civil engineering by bringing expert insights from distinguished professionals. Through this initiative, ICI Nagpur Centre plans to organize monthly lectures by its eminent members for the benefit of students.
Dr. Sandeep Shirkhedkar welcomed the students and faculty members and briefed them about the vision and objectives of the Pinnacle Talks Series. Er. Manoj Kawalkar shared insights into the technical activities of ICI and extended support for strengthening industry–institute interaction for students.
Dr. Swapneel Satone highlighted the background and concept of the Pinnacle Talks Series, while Er. Joshi proposed the vote of thanks.
The session witnessed enthusiastic participation of 115 students. Feedback was collected from the participants, and certificates were distributed. The program concluded with dinner.
