Expert Session on “Design and Construction of Hydraulic Structures”

The Department of Civil Engineering, S.V.P.C.E.T., Nagpur and the ICI Students Chapter in association with the Indian Concrete Institute, Nagpur Centre organized an expert session on “Design and Construction of Hydraulic Structures” for the Second and Third Year Civil Engineering students.
Dr. Virendra Dehadrai, Director, AQUADES Structural Consultants Pvt. Ltd., Nagpur, delivered an excellent and informative session. The lecture provided insights into the relevant IS Codes, materials used in hydraulic structures, drawings, and detailing of water tanks.
The program was coordinated by Prof. Yogesh S. Lanjewar along with the students’ team of the ICI Students Chapter. The session proved to be highly beneficial in enhancing the practical knowledge of the participating students.
