The Department of Civil Engineering, Priyadarshini Bhagwati College of Engineering, Nagpur, successfully organized and concluded the two-day National Level Event – ICI FEST 2026 under the able guidance and visionary leadership of Dr. A. M. Shende, Principal.
The event was convened by Dr. Ranjit Patil, with the dedicated support of the organizing team comprising Dr. Nitesh Thikare (Organizing Secretary), Prof. Roshan Mohankar (Co-Secretary), and Prof. Kunal Thanekar.
The inaugural function was graced by distinguished dignitaries, including Dr. Prashant Bhandarkar, Superintending Engineer, Nagpur Improvement Trust, Nagpur (Chief Guest); Er. Manoj Kawalkar, President-Elect, Indian Concrete Institute; Er. P. P. Deshpande, Chairman, ICI Nagpur Centre; Dr. Swapnil Satone, Chairman-Elect, ICI Nagpur Centre; Er. Bhagwat Patil, Secretary, ICI Nagpur Centre; Er. Vijay Balkote, President, ALE; and Er. Ashish Dwivedi, ICI Nagpur Centre. Their valuable guidance and inspiring addresses added immense significance to the event.
ICI FEST 2026 received an overwhelming response, with participation from more than 1,000 students representing various states across the country. The event featured 14 technical and creative competitions, including Paper Presentation, Project Creativity, Bridge Making, Concrete Mix Design, Drafting by CAD, and several other engaging activities.
The students participated with great enthusiasm, making the event vibrant, competitive, and intellectually stimulating. The fest provided an excellent platform for knowledge sharing, innovation, technical excellence, and healthy competition among aspiring engineers.
The remarkable success of ICI FEST 2026 was made possible through the collective efforts, unwavering support, and dedicated teamwork of the organizing committee, faculty members, volunteers, participants, and all associated stakeholders. Their contributions, from planning to execution, played a vital role in making the event a grand success.
