Short Term Course on Sustainable Water Management
The ICI Student Chapter, in association with the Department of Civil Engineering, Anjuman College of Engineering and Technology (ACET), Nagpur, organized a Short Term Course on 30th June 2026 at the Seminar Hall.
The session was delivered by Dr. Hitendra Chandewar, Director of Hitbhav Engineers, Nagpur, on the topic “Before Looking Outward: Internal Answers to Water Crisis – A Case Study on the World’s Largest Rainwater Harvesting Project at Kurnool.”
Dr. Chandewar shared valuable insights into sustainable water management, groundwater recharge, and innovative rainwater harvesting techniques through a real-life engineering case study. The interactive session inspired students to adopt practical and sustainable solutions for future infrastructure development.
The programme witnessed the enthusiastic participation of 51 students and 12 faculty members. It was organized under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) K. S. Zakiuddin, with support from Dr. Rashmi G. Bade, and faculty coordinators Dr. Rashmi Bade and Prof. Md. Azaz.
