An industrial site visit was organized under the ICI Student Chapter on 12th March 2025 for the Civil Engineering students of JD College of Engineering & Management, Nagpur. The visit was coordinated by Prof. Shital Navghare, ICI Student Chapter In-charge, with support from Prof. Rahul Jichkar.
A total of 75 students participated in this educational visit to the 64M Bow String Girder Launching Scheme site at Kamptee.
Er. Saurabh Kurve gave a detailed explanation on the design, construction process, and methodology used for placing the bow girder. The session highlighted the practical significance of such structures in modern civil engineering projects.
